This notice explains how Reclaimed Slates & Tiles (“we”, “us” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit this website or contact us about reclaimed roofing materials or roof tile and slate removal services.

If you submit an enquiry, we may receive the information you enter, such as your name, email address, telephone number, project town, postcode or location, material or service of interest, approximate quantity and message. Please do not submit payment card details or other sensitive personal information through the form.

Basic technical information may also be processed by the hosting and website asset providers when your browser requests pages, fonts or images. This can include your IP address, browser information and the time of the request.

3. How we use your information

We use enquiry details to respond to your questions, discuss materials or removal work, check requirements, prepare or follow up on a quote, and keep a reasonable record of business communications. We do not use the enquiry form to sign you up to marketing emails.

4. Our reasons for using personal information

Where you ask us for information or a quote, we may use your information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. We may also rely on our legitimate interests in managing enquiries and business records, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights. Where the law requires consent for a particular technology, we ask for that separately through the cookie controls.

5. Service providers

Our website is hosted using Netlify. When you submit the contact form, the information is processed by Netlify Forms on our behalf. We may configure Netlify to email form-submission notifications to info@reclaimedslateandtiles.co.uk.

Some page images and web fonts are requested from third-party asset providers (including Unsplash and Google Fonts). Those providers may receive technical request information when your browser loads these assets. We do not currently install third-party analytics or advertising-tracking tools on this website.

6. How long we keep information

We keep enquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage any resulting work or commercial relationship, maintain appropriate business records, and deal with legal obligations or disputes. Access should be limited to people who need the information for those purposes.

7. Security and sharing

We take reasonable steps to protect enquiry information. We share it with service providers only where needed to operate the website or handle your enquiry, and may disclose it where required by law. No method of online transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may be able to ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, or ask us to restrict or object to certain processing. 9. Cookies and similar storage

This website currently uses browser storage for limited preference and user-interface functions. It does not currently use analytics or advertising-tracking cookies.

• Cookie-choice preference (localStorage): remembers whether you accepted all options, rejected optional options, or selected your own preferences. It is used to respect your choice on later visits.
• Enquiry pop-up session storage (sessionStorage): only used if you enable the Marketing option. It remembers the start of your tab session and whether the 15-second enquiry pop-up has already appeared, so it does not repeatedly interrupt you while you browse that tab. The pop-up is not shown when Marketing storage is disabled.
• Analytics: no analytics tool is currently installed. The analytics preference is available for future changes but does not activate analytics by itself.

You can choose “Accept all”, “Reject non-essential” or “Manage preferences” in the consent notice. You can reopen the controls at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. If optional tools are added later, they should remain blocked unless you enable the relevant category. 10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice if the website or the way we use information changes. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
